Individual Counselling
Counselling offers a space for you to be heard and your story to be acknowledged in a compassionate way. Counsellors hold space for your story, suggest strategies for resolving symptoms, and provide guidance as you move toward personal growth and healing. Individual counselling can be in-person or online.

Brain Mapping/ Neurofeedback
A brain map is a 21 channel Electroencephalogram (EEG) that assesses your unique brain wave patterns. A 12 page report is generated describing the strengths and challenges of your brain.
Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) is a form of direct neurofeedback that allows the brain to re-set itself for optimal performance.

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched approach proven effective for the treatment of trauma and PTSD, anxiety, compulsive behaviours, substance use, phobias, complex grief, and many other mental health problems. EMDR can be in-person or online.

ADHD Testing
If you suspect you may have ADHD, taking an Integrated Audio Visual ADHD Test can determine with 92% accuracy whether you have ADHD or not.
This test can be taken in the office or remotely from the comfort of your home.
My Approach
In my practice, I strive to create an atmosphere of warmth, compassion and safety. I work collaboratively with my clients, creating a plan together, that will help them reach their goals. I use talk therapy including modalities of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Gottman and Emotion Focused Therapy. As well, I am a specialist in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, EMDR and LLLT. I describe my practice as, "Counselling PLUS" because you can receive talk therapy, but also access a range of other powerful therapies to bring about change, growth and healing more quickly.
About me
I am a Registered Nurse as well as a Certified Counsellor. I worked as a nurse for many years and then transitioned into counselling after receiving my Masters in Counselling. This combination of education and training gives me a unique, knowledgeable and holistic approach to both physical and mental health issues. I am an expert in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback and have 15 years of experience in this field. I love living in the Okanagan and especially enjoy paddleboarding, cycling and hiking.
